The goal of the Trail Town Task Force is is to create and promote outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, ATV, horseback riding, kayaking and canoeing throughout our beautiful county. In order to meet this goal, we are working to make Ohio County a certified Kentucky Trail Town.

We are currently working on creating a Blue Water Trail which will start on Rough River in the northern part of the county and end at Hartford. Several cities and communities in Ohio County have the potential to become Trail Towns. Among them are Beaver Dam, Fordsville, Centertown, Rockport and Horse Branch, to name a few.
